THE SANCTUARY CHOIR

The Sanctuary Choir of East Rogersville Baptist Church is a dedicated group of born again believers who love to sing. We are a blend of various ages, gifts, and talents. There is no audition to be in this choir. The requirements: Love the Lord Jesus Christ and love to sing. We enjoy and sing all types of Christian music, such as Southern Gospel, Blue Grass, Contemporary, and the tried and true Hymns of the Faith. The main focus for us is to glorify God and exalt the Name of Jesus with our lives and our music. We enjoy spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ through the messages in the songs we sing. We pray that those who hear will be blessed. We are encouraged in many of the Holy Scriptures to sing. Psalm 30:4 says, "Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name." In Ephesians 5, Paul encourages us to be filled with the Spirit and speak to one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. At present, the Sanctuary choir practices Wednesday and Sunday evenings from 6:00 - 6:50pm. We welcome anyone who wants to make a joyful noise! A servant of the Lord
